Hanlan's Point, located on Toronto Island, is accessible by ferry or water taxi if you take it to Hanlan's Point. The island itself is an amazing experience, covering approximately 600 hectares of land. A 15-20 minute ferry ride from the Toronto mainland will take you to Hanlan's Point. While on the ferry, enjoy the stunning views of the city's skyline, surrounding waters, cultural landmarks, and other islands dotting the bay. Once you arrive at the island, there are signs that will direct you to the beach, where you can relax and enjoy the cool breeze.
DIRECTIONS / GETTING HERE - ELECTRIC ISLAND TORONTO 2023
If you're driving, there are no direct routes that lead to the ferry pier in advance of your journey to Electric Island, hence, it's essential to plan ahead. The closest parking facility is any parking garage, public parking, the Westin Hotel or perhaps the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (BBTCA) Garage, where you can park for the day. Alternatively, you can choose to park in one of the privately owned surface lots that are a short distance from the pier.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DIRECTIONS - ELECTRIC ISLAND TORONTO 2023
Public transit is another transportation option. Take the 509 Harbourfront streetcar to the Bay Street ferry terminal. Board the ferry to Hanlan's Point then walk for approximately 15-20 minutes to Hanlan's Point beach.
PARKING - ELECTRIC ISLAND TORONTO 2023
If you prefer to drive, parking options include the BBTCA Garage,privately owned surface lots, and street parking (if available). However, parking in Toronto can be quite costly, hence it's advisable to plan ahead and budget for parking fees. If you're on a tight budget, consider taking public transport, which can save you money and parking hassles.
I have purchased a ticket but have not received it yet. When/How will I receive the tickets?
Tickets are sent 48 hours before the event to the original purchasers email address. Tickets can be printed or scanned from mobile at the entrance gates.
If I buy a ticket for another person, does the ticket purchaser have to be present?
That depends. If tickets were purchased in advance and have been emailed, then you only require the e-ticket to enter and the purchaser does not need to be present (with the exception of the seasons pass, where the name on the ticket must match the attendee’s ID). If tickets were purchased under the “will call pick up” option, the cardholder will need to show ID and the credit card used for purchase to pick up the tickets on the island.

Can I bring Cannabis to Electric Island?
Guests attending the festival may bring in cannabis subject to the following:
• Guests must be at least 19 years of age to possess cannabis
• Guest will only be permitted to enter with an amount of cannabis that is reasonable for personal use *personal use amount is up to the organizer's discretion
• Upon entry, guests must make security aware that they are bringing cannabis products
•Security will remove guests who overuse or over consume any intoxicant, including cannabis
•Cannabis is for personal use only and the sale of cannabis is strictly prohibited
•The use and consumption of cannabis is subject to theCode of Conduct found on ElectricIsland.toand misuse may result in removal from the festival.
•Only cannabis products purchased legally and contained within unopened/sealed packaging from official government sources will be permitted to be brought into the festival. Cannabis products that do not abide by these rules (e.g. opened packages, homemade products or those where the support/substance cannot be confirmed) will not be permitted or allowed into the festival

Do you sell food? Am I able to bring my own food inside?
Electric Island has various food trucks selling food + drinks inside, and they cater to various dietary restrictions. Outside food and drink (including water) is not permitted.
Is Electric Island Accepting volunteers this year?
No, Electric Island does not use volunteers at ELECTRIC ISLAND.

Medical tents and roaming teams are in place, be sure to note these locations upon entry to the event or ask event staff for help, if needed.
Festival Health
Festival Health is an overarching term that provides education and resources on attending festivals and concerts safely from sunscreen and water, to safe substance use and alcohol consumption. Electric Island will continue to work with public health authorities to ensure they'reare meeting or exceeding the latest public health guidance across our events. As national and provincial regulations continue to evolve, Electric Island advise fans to check event and venue websites for the most recent policies and procedures. Ticket holders will also receive direct emails with information needed to plan their visit to shows.
Do I require Covid-19 vaccination to attend?
The safety of fans, artists, and staff is always our top priority. Our event is in regular communication with local health and public safety officials and will continue to abide by all guidelines as they are put forth. As each event approaches, ticket holders will receive regular updates with the important information needed to plan their visit to Electric Island, any changes to policies and procedures they’ll need to know before entering the venue for their event, including health and & safety screenings. Updates will be shared on our website, through our social media channels, and direct to ticket holders via email.
Are tickets available for purchase at the door?
Unless the event is sold out in advance, tickets will be available for purchase at the door. Electric Island recommend that you purchase your tickets in advance, as the price is always higher at the door.
What is your refund policy if I am no longer able to attend a show?
All sales are final, and refunds or exchanges are not permitted, including if any of the acts cancel. Refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled entirely.
How do my mobile/print-at-home tickets work?
Mobile tickets are accessible via the Ticketweb app on your phone. Print-at-home tickets are emailed to you ahead of the show and can be printed in advance or scanned from your phone. Note that Electric Island do not have public wifi, so it is recommended that you download your tickets in advance so that you have them ready upon arrival. And be sure to turn up your phone’s brightness to the highest setting for easier scanning. Optionally,Park Agency Print Shopcan help you print the emailed tickets.
I purchased a ticket from someone. Can you check if its legitimate?
Unfortunately Electric Island cannot check the legitimacy of a ticket purchased from a third party until it is scanned at the door for entry. Electric Island are not responsible for tickets purchased outside of Ticketweb or our authorized sellers. Entry will be denied and refunds will not be issued to anyone that presents an invalid or duplicate ticket at the door.
